This iPhone application simulates an airplane glass cockpit display of an attitude indicator (AI).
The AI screen displays pitch and roll based on calculations from the internal accelerometers of the iPhone and iPod Touch.

** IMPORTANT NOTICE **This program is not a replacement for an actual airplane attitude indicator! Real AI's are based on gyros and this program is based on accelerometers. Accelerometer based attitude indicators are susceptible to acceleration forces that will cause them to act inappropriately in real flying conditions. Equalization of acceleration forces can cause this program to indicate a level attitude when in reality it is in a turn. Also, excessive acceleration forces will cause erratic displays of attitude. This program was not created as a replacement for gyroscope based attitude indicators.
