I have been operating under the company name of Phatfly Studio for several years now, but my programming experience goes back to my pre college days.
I started playing with computers in the mid eighties when I was in middle school. My family had several Apple IIe computers, and that got me hooked. I was awe struck when in school we were taught how to program graphics, and at home when I would author my own floppy disks.
A part from creating web sites, I am a full-time student studying for a degree in Electrical Engineering, at Saint Cloud State University, in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. I started college the mid 1990's at Madison Area Technical College, in Madison, Wisconsin. For two years I studied Photography and general studies, planning to transfer to a four year college. After MATC I took time off from school to work as a FAA part 135 airline dispatcher, and more importantly for an Internet Service Provider that offered dial-up internet to Wisconsin customers. There I worked my way up to Webmaster, Assistant Administrator from a starting position as over-the-phone technical support. After working for a few years I transferred to the University of Wisconsin, Rock County Campus, and received an Associate of Arts and Sciences Degree, in Ethnic Studies (August 2006). I now attend Saint Cloud State University, and plan to finish a major in Electrical Engineering in 2010.
Apart from my history of work and school, I enjoy passions for aviation, SCUBA diving and Electrical Engineering. I have been an FAA certified private pilot since 1998. In January 2007, I became instrument certified and started working on the multi-engine commercial certification. Aviation is more than just a passion, it has become a life style and source of satisfaction in my life that I share with anyone I can. As a pilot I have learned the necessity for flight planning and have honed multitasking skills that I have applied to my entire life. I am also a PADI, Dive master and Master Diver. When I started flying, I was turned on to SCUBA diving as another way to experience a 3-D environment. Both aviation and SCUBA diving have given me very unique experiences and taught me, more than anything else, that anything is possible. With a good understanding of the components that go into any endeavor, you can plan and accomplish any goal.
If there is anything that I enjoy more than flying airplanes and working on engineering problems, it is being creative and using my imagination to better life around me. I look forward to helping my customers make an online presence a reality for their business, and I am sure that when you team up with me, we can produce a product that you will be proud of.
Thank you for visiting my web site!
